Hello, my name is Sydney Medford. I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I spent the first five years of my teaching career teaching 3rd grade and was a stay-at-home mom until I began my time at Cullowhee Kids Preschool.
Cullowhee Kids Preschool holds a special place in my heart, as my daughter graduated from CKP and loved her time there! After spending time at home with my son, I trusted that God would guide me toward my next chapter. I feel so blessed to now be a CKP teacher.
I believe that as a teacher I am to show each student that they are loved and cherished by God and give them opportunities to access learning the way that best meets their needs.
My husband, Taylor, and our two children, Olivia and Jack, live locally and love to spend time outdoors, especially on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I love to spend quality time with my family, reading, crafting, and crocheting.
