Cullowhee UMC Youth February Newsletter
Hello Friends!
What a great first month of our spring semester! February was a full month in youth ministry including a wood delivery, a night of fellowship in Cherokee, a night of spiritual growth from our youth council, lots of fantastic fundraisers, and some big achievements for our graduating class!
Our youth had a great time during our night of giving. We delivered firewood to those in our
community who we wanted to share some love and support with this winter.
We had such a fun time with our night of gathering in Cherokee! Everyone was invited to
play arcade games and enjoy some time together.
We were able to attend a signing of one of our seniors, Lilli Rhodes!
Lily will be attending King College this fall with a Soccer scholarship. Congratulations Lilli!
February was a fantastic month of fundraising to help support our youth summer service trips.
We had a successful parent’s night out, Soup-er bowl fundraiser, and Mardi gras pancake supper!
We appreciate everyone who shows so much support for our youth program!
We are so fortunate to have an excellent group of student leaders in our youth group!
For our night of gathering our youth council led our evening. It included board games, music, and an
activity to show that we all are loved by God the same, no matter what we face in life.
