Cullowhee UMC Youth October Newsletter

Hello Friends!

What a great month of the semester! October was filled with a fall trip to Darnell Farms, a game night with Sylva First UMC, a Project FIRE day of service, and a devotional night with a fun twist on biblical story telling!

Our game night at Sylva First UMC was great fun!

We got to play some dodgeball, line tag, manhunt, and ended with some pizza and small group time.

We had a great time at our night of growth! We used some Wesley Haunted House props to have the

youth dress up and act out different bible stories for their peers. A fun twist on a classic devotional!

For a night of fun we all went to Darnell Farms where we had a hayride, corn maze, and got to pick out a pumpkin to take home!

For some service to our community we were involved with Project FIRE

earlier this month splitting and delivering firewood to those in need.

Thanks to our awesome HalloWHEEn fundraising team for helping with the event last week (some not pictured)

We had a great turnout and a portion of the donations are  going to the youth budget to fund our work moving ahead.
