The Wesley Foundation Campus Ministry at WCU

Wesley Foundation is the United Methodist ministry on the campus of Western Carolina University  located in the Cullowhee UMC building. Look for the covered walkway entrance. Wesley is open to ALL students of any creed or background. We have served students over the last sixty years by providing a community where Christians grow in their relationship with God and with each other. Many students call it their “home away from home.” One student recently said, “I like that it is a place I can get away from campus. There is always a group of students there to do something with.”

We offer a place where students are welcome to worship, study, rest and have fun. Throughout the week, Wesley holds student-led worship, bible studies, service projects, free meals, and trips on and off campus. What we do here is dynamic and is always subject to change. Hey, that’s college, right?

Wesley Foundation students also participate in mission trips. Recently groups went to Wyoming, New Orleans, Nashville, Kentucky, Florida, Cincinnati, and Guatemala for a variety of mission work. We are a people on a journey.

To learn more about Wesley or how you can get involved, stop in and see us any time, any day.
