Cullowhee UMC lives out the call to put God’s love into action by doing good for others in our community, nation, and our world. This year, we are excited to resume the tradition of packing Project AGAPE boxes. Project AGAPE is a collaborative effort for both UMC conferences in North Carolina. The boxes provide necessities for Armenian children from ages 0-18. These are the only gifts that many of these children receive.

We are simplifying the procedure this year. We invite you to please make a child smile this Christmas by donating money, $25, through the church. The supplies for the boxes will be purchased and then the JOY children and their families will pack the boxes as a service project on Sunday, September 25 after church. Please donate $25 to the church by writing a check to Cullowhee UMC with “Agape” in the menu line, or  click here for the Donation link on the church website and go to the “Other” dialog box, and put “Agape” in the empty dialog line.

Your “$25” donation includes shipping for a box.  The church will send a single check to the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church for the shipping cost.
