PURPOSE of United Methodist Women: The organized unit of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Any woman age 18 or over is invited to be a member of United Methodist Women. The Morning Circle meets monthly in the homes of members, and there are general meetings in the evenings several times during the year. Cullowhee UMW sponsors a “Chicken Feed” luncheon annually; proceeds go to missions locally and globally.  This year in lieu of a luncheon we encourage you to donate money to Nets on World Malaria Day, April 25, 2008.  You can make a contribution to CUMC and in the “memo” line of your check write “Nets”.
