Dear CUMC children and families,

Here are a list of ministry opportunities for you and your children to participate in together with your church family! We are so excited for this upcoming year and cannot wait to grow together in God’s love, helping others and focusing on our personal relationship with Jesus.

August

August 25th-Joy Kids are invited to bring school supplies to church that morning and then come to our Back to School Bash at Sundrops on Caney Fork from 12:30-2:30pm for a pool party.

August 25th“Calling ALL fourth graders” to receive their Bibles during worship! Please let Mrs. Scarlette know if you will be here that Sunday and how you want your name spelled on your Bible.

August 28th-Whee Wednesdays begin! Dinner at 5:30 and adult Bible studies and children activities beginning at 6:15.

September

September 8th– Children ages 2-5th grade are invited to the small fellowship hall from 10:00-10:45am for Sunday school, where we will rotate stations to explore “the greatest story ever told!”

September 22nd“Project Agape” Pack Agape Boxes for children in Armenia followed by a pizza party. We begin at 12:30 and end when all boxes are packed and pizza is consumed.

October

October 27th-Children and families are invited to a field trip to Darnell farms in Bryson City to enjoy an afternoon of picking produce, taking wagon rides, exploring a corn maze and so much more! We will meet at Darnell farms at 1!

October 30st-Trunk or Treat and soup night fundraiser!

November

November 24th-Children and families are invited to help pack fruit baskets and deliver to our shut-ins for a thanksgiving surprise! We will meet at the church at 12:30 to pack the baskets and caravan together to see our shut-ins!

December

December 4th-Paper Bag Christmas!

December 15th-Children and families are invited to go caroling at Skyland Care Center at 1pm. We will meet at the care center at 1 to spread some Christmas cheer! Hope to see you there!
