Project Agape Children’s Christmas Boxes for Armenia

August is a great time to purchase school items for the boxes.

We are collecting items now for children’s Christmas Boxes for Armenia. Help us support the United Methodist ministry of humanitarian aid for the children, women, and men of Armenia by filling a shoe box. Please bring items in soon so the children can package the items on September 22.  Please include a plastic sized shoe box with lid and $5 to cover shipping with checks written to CUMC with “Christmas Boxes” in the memo line or include $5 cash in the box.

Project AGAPE — ministry to Armenia and to some of our most desperate Christian brothers and sisters — is a collaborative effort of the North Carolina and the Western North Carolina Conferences of The United Methodist Church in a joint effort with the Armenian Apostolic Church.

You do not need to include every item on the list and are free to add other age-appropriate items.  Personal notes of greeting and pictures of your family or church group also are welcome.
