August 2010 News from Cullowhee Kids Preschool

Cullowhee Kids began its fourteenth year on Aug. 25 with 32 children, 4 teachers and 1 teacher’s aid. Newly available this year is child care from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm with two college students working in the late afternoon, our own Scarlette Houston and Hannah Painter.

We started our school year with the theme, “Sharing and Manners.” We began to learn our two school rules, 1. Treat others how you want to be treated, and 2. People are more important than things. But we can’t play Gross Out at lunch time this year because one squeamish three-year-old told me she didn’t want to hear such talk!

Thank you for your prayerful support and please save your oatmeal boxes for us. You can leave them in the supply room.

Ms. Sandy
